Unspoilt, fairytale cove near Tossa de Mar. Tossa’s best kept secret.
If you saw a picture of this picture postcard sandy cove, nestling amidst a pine forest, you’d probably never guess that it’s only a short drive away from the centre of Tossa de Mar. This is my favourite Tossa beach – about 60 metres of flat, coarse sand and it’s also very popular with families and snorkelers. You won’t find showers or beach bars here – it’s not that kind of beach, but walk two minutes along the sand to the neighbouring Cala Carles - a slightly bigger cove, and you'll find both. What I really love about this Cala is that most people don’t know it’s here and the fact that you need a car to get to it means that even in the height of summer, it rarely gets too packed.
