An oasis of tranquillity beside the Barrio Santa Cruz.
The Jardines de Murillo are a popular promenade around the outside of the walls of the Alcázar, with fountains and formal flowerbeds, and a monument to Ferdinand and Isabella as the sponsors of exploration of the New World. I particularly love the giant magnolia trees, and the tiled benches are a great place to stop and rest and contemplate the world.
