Handkerchief-sized beaches around Moraira.

Of Moraira’s six beaches L’Ampolla is the closest to the town (at the foot of the Castle) and the most popular, being mainly sand. Most of the others are either rocky or a combination. Cala Portichol, beside the Club Nautico is popular with fishermen and sub-aqua divers, the latter also finding the clarity of the deeper waters of Cala Andragó a major diving area. For privacy, the tiny Cala Cap Blanc is the least well known of Moraira’s beaches, mainly because you have to leave your car by the Moraira to Calpe road and walk to it.
