Filled with all manner of marine creatures, this museum is a real window to the ocean.

Standing on the shore of the Atlantic, Lisbon has strong links to he sea and what lurks beneath it. Opened for the 1998 Expo under the theme "The Oceans, a Heritage for the Future", the museum is split into geographic categories covering the world's oceans. Expect to see penguins in the Antarctic Ocean, sharks in the Indian Ocean and otters in the Pacific Ocean.
