The price varies depending on what time you're going up there. From 9.30am to 7.15pm, it operates "daytime pricing" - US$10.50 for adults, US$7.50 for children. From then onwards it's US$15.50.
Queues can supposedly get lengthy at peak times, in which case you can buy an express pass for $23. Having said that, I've never seen any wait long enough to justify spending the extra money. The line moves pretty quickly.
You may be kept waiting at peak times (before midnight) so if you want to get there at a specific time, leave about half an hour to make it up, to be safe.
Decide on when you want to go up. In the daytime, you can see the mountains surrounding the valley, but at night, you get the glitz of the Strip.
