Sun lounges are 4 euros and umbrellas 3.50 euros.
There are two car parks, so as you turn into the road, take a right-hand turn at the hostel sign for the far right (my favourite part) or go straight down for the middle and the main restaurant.
There are two chiringuitos (beach restaurants) on the beach and both are great, offering options for all budgets.
Because of the height of the rocky cliffs behind it, a large shadow begins to fall over the beach at around 6pm so factor that into your schedule – you’ll see beachgoers edging forward trying to make the most of the last rays!
I like to spend the day at Aguas Blancas then as the sun fades, head over to Benirras to catch the sunset – the perfect northern afternoon.
