Hong Kong Museum of History

Address: Chatham Road South, Hong Kong, China
Telephone: 2724 9042

- Budget

Brilliantly interpreted - and an admission fee that's paltry.

There's a tendency to think Hong Kong's history started when the Brits planted the Union Jack. Not so.

This is not a museum to save for a rainy day; it is somewhere to spend the best part of a day. Multi media, multi lingual, inspiring.

Value for money

Price advice

HK$10 - ten bucks! Find a museum of this calibre this cheap somewhere else - nigh impossible, surely.

Expert tips

It's free on Wednesdays but unless you are really strapped for cash, pick another day - it gets busy.
