Glasgow’s family favourite, this is a cavalcade of interactive science and space exploration.

My friends’ children love this place. Chock-full of science shows, workshops and hands-on technology displays, the Science Centre is easily the best family attraction in the city. With three floors of educational exhibits, an intriguing planetarium – my favourite section – and a host of games and activities suitable for everyone from pre-schoolers through to high school science students, it’s a great day out. Despite favouring the magnetic forces trail, I still don’t understand the science behind it all.
