In Bol on Brac, Dalmatia’s most photographed beach.

If you love lounging on the beach and swimming, be sure to visit Zlatni Rat. Undoubtedly Dalmatia's most spectacular beach, this extraordinary geographical feature is made up of fine shingle and juts out 500 metres, perpendicular to the coast. Depending on local winds and sea currents, it moves and changes shape slightly from season to season. The pinewoods at the top end of the cape offer shade and there are a couple of bars for refreshments. Around the beach there are sun beds, umbrellas, pedal boats and jet-skis for hire, banana boat rides, and windsurfing, water-skiing and scuba diving centres. 200 metres west of the cape, there’s a stretch of tiny rocky coves reserved for nudists, known as Paklina. To reach Zlatni Rat, follow the tree-lined promenade west of the village of Bol (2km). Nearby hotels include Bluesun Hotel Borak and Villa Giardino.
