Discover how Bath was built up and became a Georgian spa town.

Bath is rightfully famous for its beautiful Georgian architecture and this charming little collection gives an overview of how houses were constructed and looks into how classical design influenced the architecture of Bath. It’s also a rich source of information about the rebuilding of Bath after the Second World War – like many locals I only happened on this place by chance, but I’m glad I did and as an added bonus it’s housed in the pretty 18th Century Countess of Huntingdon's Chapel. My favourite display is the fascinating scale model of Bath – it’s perfect if you can’t afford a hot air balloon ride, but would like to see the city from above.
