World class design and architecture exhibitions in a fabulous purpose-built space.

Clad in red marble, the newest wing of the Benaki Museum is an architectural landmark. A ramp leads into an open-air atrium, lined with wooden blinds that reveal and conceal the galleries. From Mexican architecture to paper fashion, the exhibitions are design-led and always exciting. It has a very cool café that’s great for people-watching at weekends, when the museum stays open until 10pm. The brilliant shop showcases local crafts. It’s my failsafe place for beautiful hand-made gifts.
