Super city-centre sand.

Postiguet beach sits at the foot of the Castillo de Santa Bárbara and is one of the city’s most popular. It has lifeguard watchtowers, a Red Cross post, car park, foot showers, toilets and disabled access. If you want to shake the sand from your toes and take a stroll, it’s right beside the palm tree-lined Explanada de España, with its six million six hundred thousand tricolour marble tiles laid to create a wave effect mosaic. Further north, San Jan Beach is one of the most famous in Alicante, but is only one of the seven the city has to offer.
