The world's biggest indoor theme park, naturally featuring the fastest ride in the world too.

Ok, so strictly speaking Ferrari World is in Abu Dhabi, located on the manmade Yas Island which also houses the impressive Yas Marina F1 track. But, it's only about 50 minutes away from Dubai by car and, if you're a fan of motorsports and/or themeparks, this really is something not to be missed. It's also completely brand new, having opened in November 2010. Sadly, I haven't yet been, but until I do, the figures speak for themselves.

Firstly, Ferrari World is the largest indoor theme park in the world at 86,000 square metres, and features the fastest ride ever built (that'll be the Formula Rossi with top speeds of 240kph). If you survive that one, there's also various other gravity and science defying thrills and spills in replica motors, 3D experiences and behind-the-scenes tours (and all Ferrari-branded). It's all quite excessive and OTT, but what did you expect?
