Like everything else in Costa Adeje, you'll find that many of the shops, particularly the further west you go, are top drawer with price tags to match. But in some of the older areas of the resort, around parts of Torviscas and Fañabe you can still find a fair few shops selling what can best be described as tourist tat.
Those enjoying the designer hotels around Del Duque will equally revel in the designer labels on sale at the chic Del Duque commercial centre (Plaza Playas del Duque) where you'll find retail outlets, restaurants and estate agents all vying to help you and your money to part company.
Move a little further south along the coast to the car park opposite the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel and the twice weekly market (Thursdays and Sundays 9am-2pm) throngs with shoppers on the look out for a decent Cartier copy or some aloe vera creams.
Across the other side of the motorway you'll find Gran Sur commercial centre (Calle Lisboa, 2, Torviscas) where several good food outlets are in good company with a decent collection of clothes and shoe shops at not unreasonable prices. The January and July sales are a good time to bag some excellent bargains.
