A smaller version of Puerto del Carmen, this one-time fishing village now caters almost solely for the tourist trade, with shops selling similar items to those in Puerto del Carmen (see Shopping in Puerto Del Carmen). Cut price cigarettes, alcohol and perfume are some of the most popular buys here.
The beachfront promenade and the street running parallel to it are the main shopping arteries, the vast majority of which are aimed squarely at tourists. On the edge of the resort, upmarket Marina Rúbicon is the island's smartest place to shop, with exclusive boutiques and a handful of art galleries.
Playa Blanca is in Lanzarote. For general advice on shopping in Lanzarote, see my Shopping in Lanzarote page.
