A drive along Playa d’en Bossa’s main drag would probably have any fashionista cutting up her credit card in dismay – it’s chock-full of tacky Ibiza slogan t-shirts, postcards and remnants from the 1980s tourism boom. Hit the beach however, and it’s another story entirely as each super cool beach bar and restaurant features their own stylish boutiques where it’s easy to flex the plastic and think about the bills later!
From unique bikinis, kaftans and resort-wear to leather bags, boots and belts, costume and fine jewellery, bejeweled sandals and even glitzy dresses, flirty frocks and the obligatory cowboy and fedora hats, it’s the ultimate Ibiza wardrobe just waiting to be snapped up – because one bikini/sarong/pair of sunglasses is never enough when you’re on holiday right?
In the surrounding areas of Es Cavallet and Las Salinas, it’s more of the same in each beach bar and restaurant and you’ll also find plenty of people walking up and down the beach selling jewellery and bikinis too, at slightly less inflated prices than in the boutiques. It may not be high fashion, but it’s definitely high prices.
