Food and drink
Try the homemade basil and lime lemonade for a terrific thirst-quencher. The menu is brief: three daily specials, four salads, four main courses and five snacks. The signature Schlachertorte, named after Bernd Schlacher, owner, caterer and gourmet, is a very moist chocolate cake.
The whole place resembles a modern streamlined yacht. Furnishings are chic – like most of the patrons – sleek cognac-coloured booths along one side, in the centre two long tables, with toasters and potted edelweiss, where breakfasts are served from 8am – 4pm. DJs play a hip selection of lounge sound.

Two daily specials are available, the vegetarian option costs 6,90, with fish or meat 7,80 euros. Main courses will set you back 8 to 10 euros.

The café on the top floor has the best views and lower prices than the restaurant below. For a table in the sleek Art Deco styled restaurant, with its beautiful mahogany bar, there's a one-week waiting list.
