4.1

Market-fresh Mediterranean cuisine in an eclectic boho setting.

Leo (owner) and Ignacio (owner and chef) write up their chalkboard menu each day depending on what they've found that's fresh at the market that morning, though there are also a few set dishes. Serving lunch and dinner (not tapas), this bright airy space also features an open kitchen with the day's produce on display.

Food and drink

There is a mix of Spanish and other Mediterranean dishes, including some lovely salads and interesting seafood combinations. I like the crispy black rice with ribbons of lightly grilled squid and the perfectly cooked pork loin served with strawberries and potato purée.

Ambience

There is a cool eclectic decor, with sofas set up near the large front picture window, large oak tables, modern art and even a piano.

Service

Service is laid back and friendly.

Location

It is about a 20-minute walk from the centre in the Macarena area.

Price advice

Salads and starters are from 8 euros, mains from 10-20 euros. Good house wine by the glass is about 2.50 euros.
