A wide variety of classic and innovative Andalusian cooking in a tasteful setting.

Jesus Becerra has created his own individual blend of traditional and modern Sevillano cuisine that is always a pleasure to experience. His recipes are based on classic cooking and use mostly local organic produce and free-range meat products. There is a bar for tapas as you go in and a formal dining area at the back that comprises six rooms of various sizes, seating from two to 45 guests.

Food and drink

There is a list of daily specials attached to the menu and these are always worth trying. A couple of the regular items that I especially like are the scrambled eggs (revuelto) with stewed bull's tail and the potato croquettes served with cheese sauce. The restaurant also features many daily specials as well as an extensive wine list.

Ambience

It is casual and comfortable at the bar, but quite formal in the restaurant with its traditional Andalusian decor.

Service

Service is extremely professional and courteous without being stuffy.

Location

It is on the inner ring road near the Puerta Carmona, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Barrio Santa Cruz.

Price advice

Tapas cost between 3-3.50 euros, though the daily special tapas can go up to about 5 euros. In the restaurant it will cost you between 40-50 euros per person, including wine.
