Food and drink
You really shouldn't leave without trying the totally melt-in-your-mouth carrilladas (pig's cheeks) which Claudia slow cooks on a very low temperature for NINE hours. Other personal favourites are the spicy chicken wings served in a rich soya sauce with black sesame seeds and the five-cheese potatoes. Wine prices are a bit higher than usual to compensate for keeping the food prices low.
It's cosy, modern and welcoming. There are also a few tall tables outside for stand-up tapas.
Service is personable and efficient. Spanish, French, English and Portuguese are all spoken.
It's centrally located, about five minutes from the main shopping area.
Tapas are very reasonably priced from 3-4 euros. Wine by the glass is a bit higher than usual at 3 euros, I am told in order to keep the food prices down. It's worth it.
