4.3

A no-frills seaside restaurant with good food and a grandstand view over the promenade.

There's nothing fancy about this restaurant, the dining room style is a bit dated and the menu doesn't stray from the ordinary but the food is good, portions are generous and it's good value for money. I like eating here because the vegetables are always fresh and the chips are homemade.

Food and drink

There are standard international dishes with some typical Canarian options.

Ambience

When I've been here I've found a mix of Spanish, Canarian and British diners. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with some awful (mercifully quiet) supermaket-type background music.

Service

The staff are attentive and efficient without being obtrusive.

Location

On the upper level of the promenade, it's opposite the beach. The enclosed balcony section has a good sea view.

Price advice

On average it's 20 euros for three courses.

Tables to book

Go for a table with a sea view.
