Food and drink
It serves Catalan cuisine with occasional hints of Asian fusion and the odd nod to El Bulli wizardry. I had some beautifully tenderly grilled hake with battered vegetables last time I was there, whilst my other half particularly enjoyed his suckling pig in old wine with apple compote. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, like me, don’t leave without trying the liquid chocolate soufflé with lime and ginger sorbet.
It's smart but unstuffy. There are also different rooms with different atmospheres – the glass roofed conservatory feels much more informal.
The staff are excellent - attentive without being intrusive.
It's in the town centre in Palafrugell. The beach at Calella is only about 10 minutes away and Llafranc and Tamariu are also within easy reach.
Main courses cost between 18-25 euros.
