4.6

It's all a little fishy around the back of Milan's Central Station.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Milan, this restaurant has been a closely guarded local secret for around 20 years, with a great choice of fish and shellfish, generous portions, and a warm atmosphere.

Food and drink

This is all about fish, in every way, shape and form, from fish soups and salads, marinated raw fish to simple grills, seafood pastas, and gratins. You can eat sea snails or lobster or the catch of the day. There are a couple of vegetarian options if you happen to have non-fish-lovers in your party.

Recommended dishes

The grigliata mista (mixed grilled seafood) is a real treat.

Ambience

Cheerfully decorated with old-fashioned style – heavy beams, plates on the walls, and maritime memorabilia – it hums along happily, full to the brim with locals at weekends.

Service

The service is knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant.

Location

Tucked around the side of Central Station.

Price advice

For what you get, prices are not bad. Expect to pay 50-70 euros for the evening without wine.
