Food and drink
The mainly Mediterranean and Maltese dishes major on meat for the main courses – including rabbit, the national meat of Malta – but also with seafood options.
I particularly like to eat in historic settings and this is a nearly 400-year-old mill with a traditional Maltese stone vaulted interior decorated with modern trappings. There is a pretty outside too for al fresco dining. It's relaxed and informal.
The service is friendly and good.
It's in the middle of Mellieha village (it's actually more like a small town).
Starters cost 5-9 euros, and mains are mostly 16-18 euros. The set early-bird menu is three courses for 14 euros.
