Food and drink
There are sausages, burgers, fish and chips and steak and Guinness pie, as well as rib-eye steak and fish cakes. At lunchtime there's a good-value set menu. They do English breakfast and brunch on Saturdays. Starters include scorpion fish terrine with a gin reduction. Yes really! For dessert there's gin and tonic on a plate (involving jelly and sorbet), brownies, cheesecake and apple pie. You can have sandwiches, salads and other snacks at the bar, and they do afternoon tea too.
Trendy vibe. Particularly busy in early evening when people drop in for after-work cocktails.
Friendly enough, but they're not exactly all over you.
Las Salesas is an upmarket shopping area with quite a few independent boutiques and also art galleries to explore.
The set lunch is 11.90 euros. Mains go from 8.50 euros for a massive sausage sandwich to around 20 euros for steaks and 22 euros for roast beef with all the trimmings. Brunch is 16-21 euros. Afternoon tea is a very reasonable 4.90 euros.
