Food and drink
This place brings traditionally rough-and-ready fare of Portugal and gives it a strong twist of finesse. The seafood is top drawer and the wine list is as long as it is pricey.
The only time I visited I had the menu degustation, of which the highlights were the lobster couscous and the duck magret.
It's very formal here, to the point that it feels rude to talk above the volume of whispering.
Excellent the waiters are always on-hand at the slightest flinch of a request.
Obviously in the Hotel Ritz, the restaurant couldn't be in a grander location. There are also lovely views overlooking the Eduardo VII Park.
Including wine our bill totaled around 70 euros pp.
