Food and drink
The gelatos and sorbets are freshly made, using - for example - Valrhona chocolate from France, kalamansi fruit from orchards in the Philippines, and pistachios grown on the lower slopes of Mount Etna in Italy. They also do gelato cakes.
Stem ginger; and honey lemongrass. Yes!
The stores are all fairly small, with minimal seating, but well lit and welcoming. With a bit of a sweet tooth myself, I'm never so happy as when I can loll outside watching the world go by and slurping as decorously as the day's temperature allows.
You're welcome to try the various flavours before - decisions, decisions - making your final choice. Staff are invariably cheerful: who wouldn't be working somewhere like this?
Very much the town centre.
Lick for lick, it's more pricey than regular ice cream, but worth it.
