- Mid-range

4.2

New York-style Italian dining comes to Hong Kong.

There's a certain passion to this place, which aims to be a "neighbourhood joint" serving home-style food. It succeeds mightily.

Food and drink

There's a smart range of cocktails, Birra Morretti and Tsingtao, and wines by the glass and bottle. Skip the "just like Momma used to make" jokes - the food is very much genuine Italian, with plenty of pasta and other classic dishes and none of that fancy-shmancy stuff. Ingredients are natural and organic, of course.

Ambience

The circular bar adds a welcome touch to what is anyway a warm and homely eating space.

Service

It's merry and bright, swift and warm.

Location

SoHo, poised between the offices of Central and the high-rise dormitory that is Mid Levels and spliced by the outdoor escalator, is crammed with eateries.

Price advice

For HK$400 per head you should be very comfortable.
