Food and drink
While some of the flavours are constants, others are based on seasonal ingredients. The superb Crema di Grom made with organic eggs and Valrhona chocolate is a year-round classic, as is the pistacchio (made with the celebrated Bronte pistachios from Sicily), while winter warmers (does that make sense?!) include marron glacé and mandarin and summertime refreshers feature fruity flavours such as melon sorbet. In winter, there is also a superb hot chocolate.
It's a contemporary take on a traditional gelateria complete with old-fashioned ice cream churns. It's standing room only (although there’s a useful stone bench just outside).

It's tucked away on a quiet backstreet just south of [node:172673], perfectly placed for a post sight-seeing pick-me-up.
