Food and drink
Cocktails are what Neos does best (and charges a fairly hefty wedge for the privilege), but there's also lah-di-dah snacks to have too, most of which have fois gras in them somewhere. It's that kind of place.
In terms of dress code, it's quite formal, so ditch the trainers for something a bit smarter. Inside, the decor is classy (art deco, actually) without being too excessive, but the mood is fairly light, although this could change when you see the prices.
When you're paying this much for a drink, you'd better darn expect it to be superb. It is, by the way.
Neos is on the 63rd floor of The Address Downtown Dubai hotel (which, interestingly, requires two lifts to get there), with vast windows and plush comfy armchairs lending themselves to a bit of vertigo-inducing noseying across this somewhat ridiculous place we like to call Dubai.
Brace yourself, for Neos isn't somewhere for a casual after-work pint. Cocktails here can set you back over 100 dirhams if you're not careful. If there's a large group of you, you might want to think again about doing rounds.
Tables to book
Try to reserve a table next to window. Unless you're not into heights, of course, in which case you should stay well back.
