Food and drink
Meat, meat and more meat. The cuts of beef here are absolutely exquisite. Fish and lamb also find a way onto the menu, but they really shouldn't be why you're here. The wine list is a lengthy and exciting affair.
If you've recently had a sizeable windfall, the wagyu beef is out of this world.
This is one classy spot, with leather armchairs and sophisticated decor to boot. Don't expect anything approaching rowdiness here, just the clink of steak knives (you've got a few to choose from) on plates and the groans of pleasure afterwards. Popular with locals, business folk and meat-loving tourists alike. If you've got the energy to let your hair down afterwards, head to the bar Cin Cin next door.
Like the food and the surrounding, absolutely impeccable.
The Exchange Grill is in the Fairmont Hotel, among the first towers on the Sheikh Zayed Road as you're coming from the airport.
Not cheap. A meal for two with alcohol will cost upwards of 800-1,000 dirhams.
