Food and drink
Café fare and pizzas along with a list of killer cocktails.
Café classics like Caesar salad, garlicky mussels and steak au poivre feature and the thin-crusted pizzas are excellent too - but they come at a rather hefty price. The wine list has plenty of easy-drinking options, bubbles and, of course, their great cocktails.
The atmosphere here is all about being on holiday - kick off your shoes, kick back and relax while watching the boats go by. There's a lot of people watching behind dark glasses going on here too. If it's cold, inside is cosy but really this is a summer spot.
Service here is on a sliding scale between excellent and scatty - it all depends on the day.
Granger Bay 'beach'.
Main courses are, on average, 120 rand.
Tables to book
If you're there for cocktails, head for the chairs, couches and occasional tables on the sand. Lunch or dinner diners, I'd say, would be most comfortable on the terrace overlooking the action.
