Food and drink
The tasting menu changes weekly to reflect the seasons; Majorcan ‘coca’ – the Catalan equivalent of a pizza – with caramelized onions and wild mushrooms for example in Autumn. The girls also make their own olive oil, vinegar, jams and chutneys. It’s all tasty, honest fare, but the portions are a little small.
The small, brightly painted dining room glows with warmth and bonhomie. Nice for a low-key celebration.
While Maria cooks, Teresa runs a tight ship front-of-house engaging customers in their food philosophy and explaining the dishes with irresistible passion.
Caimari is a small village nestled in the foothills of the Tramuntana. Good to combine with a walk.
The six course tasting costs €26 not including wine or taxes.
