It serves excellent international cuisine made with Etienne’s personal touch – there is a choice of of just five starters, five mains and puddings plus daily specials. The downstairs wine bar serves quicker pasta dishes and cold platters. The restaurant and wine bar share a tome of a wine list with 500 international wines
The upstairs restaurant cannot help but be intimate - set as it is in one small room of this historic house. The ceiling is of stone-slabs and the small original windows give onto the quiet traditional street below. The downstairs wine bar is cosy with wine labels everywhere and there are a couple of tables outside for pleasant summer drinks.
The service is personal. Etienne is an expert on his food and wine and is delighted to share his knowledge and enthusiasm.
It's right off the tourist track in Attard, one of the “Three Villages”, an upmarket residential area of Malta full of old traditional limestone buildings.
Starters cost around 10-20 euros, mains mostly 20-30 euros and puds 3-10 euros.
