Fairly central: Vienna's 3rd District is considered one of the more central areas. Rochusgasse underground station, exit “Hainburgerstrasse”, is less than a hundred feet away – this means direct access to the U3 line which services the heart of the city and is one of the best lines for most of the main tourist sights. But from this address it is really easy to walk to the centre, roughly a 20-minute walk to Stephansplatz.
Rooms are more than ample in size, have cool white interiors, are immaculately clean and very pleasantly furnished with extra large beds, table and chairs, separate bathrooms and washrooms. There are three different room types: standard, large and large with garden views. All are air conditioned, which is a huge bonus in summer. The larger rooms have an extra sofa which can be made up into a third bed if need be.
The small reception area has a polished wooden floor a few armchairs and a small bar.
Eating and drinking
A hearty cooked buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. The proprietor makes the scrambled eggs himself - don't miss this almost legendary dish!
A visit to a nearby gym can be arranged.
Very friendly, very efficient and most accommodating. The family take pride in looking after their guests individually.
