On a pretty plaza in the heart of the old town, opposite the grandiose Baroque church of Sant Vicenç. The beach is less than five minutes’ walk away.
Thirty one simply furnished but good-sized, airy bedrooms, with old-fashioned wooden beds, TVs and modern bathrooms. The prettiest rooms have small balconies overlooking the square, but these can be noisy at night if you leave your windows open. There is air-conditioning though, so best keep them closed.
The decor is not the most contemporary but the ground floor bar has a games room with a billiards table and table football and there’s also a TV/ reading lounge. There’s also a small patio area outside where you can have coffee and an ice-cream.
Eating and drinking
Room price includes an extensive buffet served in the restaurant area, with the usual cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and herbal teas and a big selection of breads, cold meats and cheeses. There’s also soya milk and sugar-free jams.
Just the games room.
Friendly and helpful.
