Location

In a peaceful bay, a 15-minute walk from Supetar harbour and port, which is served by regular ferries from Split.

Bedrooms

The three rooms each have a double bed and white-tiled bathroom with shower, while the suites have a double room, a living room with sofa-bed, fully-equipped kitchenette, and bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Each unit is painted in a different colour, with wooden floors, modern minimalist furniture, flat-screen satellite TV and WiFi, plus a terrace overlooking the pool.

Public areas

There’s a small breakfast room next to reception, plus a peaceful walled patio with tables al fresco. A row of cypress trees give privacy to the front garden and pool, which have blissful sea views, and guests also have use of a stone barbeque.

Eating and drinking

The buffet breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, fruit, platters of cheeses and cold meats, eggs, bread, and coffee or tea. The hotel reopens for summer 2011 on 3 May with a new  restaurant serving local specialities prepared with organic produce from a nearby farm (under the hotel's management).

Leisure facilities

In the garden overlooking the sea, the outdoor pool is lined with sun beds and umbrellas – all magically lit at night. There’s also a sauna and a rooftop open-air Jacuzzi, plus massage available on request. The small public beach in the bay out front has shallow water ideal for kids. As of spring 2011, the hotel also has a small agrotourism centre, which produces food for the restaurant and is open to visitors.

Service

Efficient service with a smile – staff are full of local recommendations and can also arrange tailor-made private tours of the island.
