Their website says they are in the Barrio Santa Cruz when in fact they are about a 10-15 minute walk away, but this doesn't take anything away from the location itself, which is in a lovely quiet street off the inner ring road, keeping it within the old city walls and still quite close to main shopping and sightseeing areas.
The rooms (50 in total) are all spacious and gorgeously done out in cool tasteful colours, many with exquisite parquet flooring, all with the latest hansgrohe bathroom fixtures, as well as plush bathrobes, slippers and luxury toiletries.
Classic style colonnaded lobby patio with fountain, and a more modern courtyard at rear with greenery, tables and comfy chairs. Lounge with cream settees and flatscreen TV, library with computer, and a very nice restaurant area, including a small patio with a fountain.
Eating and drinking
Buffet and a la carte breakfast on offer. There is also the “secret restaurant” downstairs that you wouldn't know existed but for a few discreet signs here and there. Check it out – the space is beautiful and the restaurant serves traditional Andalusian fare.
The rooftop spa and pool facilities are currently being renovated.
For such luxurious surroundings, the service is totally down-to-earth and personable. The staff all speak English and are genuinely happy to help.
