As the name (hopefully) suggests, the hotel is located on the doorstep of Dubai International Airport, with complimentary shuttle buses running to Terminals 1 & 2 every 30 minutes. Should you want to venture into town, a taxi to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall will take around 20 minutes, while the nearest beach is around 25 minutes away.
The rooms are compact, clean and comfortable, with basic en-suite and a purple theme running across the bed linen, headboard and carpet. Each comes with free WiFi, which is more than can be said for many of Dubai’s five-star affairs.
Barring the lobby, there isn’t much in the way of public areas, unless you count the purple-carpet lined corridors.
Eating and drinking
Ignoring the tacky name, Bedouin’s Bistro is a fairly decent spot for a buffet breakfast or evening bite. For a drink, there’s The Retreat, a basic but adequate bar.
On the rooftop, there’s a perfectly pleasant pool with a scattering of sunbeds.
Perfectly friendly and helpful.
Who stays there
Mainly travellers passing through Dubai for less than 24 hours.
As per all Premier Inns, there's a set price for rooms.
