Not just in the heart of the city, Nimb is also in the heart of its glitzy, neon-lit playground: the Tivoli gardens. It's a suitably romantic and fanciful setting for a fabulous boutique fantasy. The rooms and the terrace back onto the gardens so you're right in the thick of things here.
The Nimb's 14 bedrooms are the best I've seen in town. Spacious (eight of them are suites) and packed with tasteful art, beautiful furnishings and furniture, they also have every home comfort including free WiFi, slippers, bathrobes and minibar. The beds are incredibly comfortable with high quality linen. The bathrooms are sumptuously appointed and all bar one have a bath tub. Some rooms have fireplaces. Rooms look out over Tivoli gardens.
Nimb backs onto Tivoli gardens, entry to which is by default included in a stay here, so you can explore their giddy, gaudy delights at leisure or just take in the scenes of family fun from the terrace, or from your room. (Note that the gardens close for most of the winter and re-open in early summer.)
Eating and drinking
Nimb is a destination for non-guest gourmets, which tells you all you need to know. The flagship restaurant Herman is among the city's best. Down in the basement there's Vinotek, with an amazing wine selection, while the cavernous bar upstairs is a hugely atmospheric chandelier- and mirror-bedecked cocktail bar/Afternoon Tea hangout.
The main attraction is the Tivoli gardens. There's no gym or pool.
As you might expect from the prices and the features on offer, the service at Nimb is second to none.
