Central Station is less than a minute away. If you’re visiting the city and want to make the most of your time from the minute you arrive then Sleeperz is ideal. Sitting between the retail and the stadium sides of the centre, the city is on its front doorstep.
For the price, Sleeperz is very impressive. The small rooms boast floor to ceiling windows, they’re suited with sharp colour schemes and decked out with contemporary furniture and nice touches like the pull out luggage rack that hides in the wall. The beds are of reasonable size with extra pillows within arm’s reach. The twin rooms have opted for adult size bunk beds that make great use of the building’s town-facing corner. For a short stay the novelty isn’t likely to wear off, and for those who’ve genuinely grown out of bunks, more accessible rooms are available.
The reception welcomes you directly into the bar and lobby area. Well lit with a tasteful colour scheme of occasional primary splashes over assertive grey, the leather furniture is considerately spaced out throughout the room. The dining area follows the same formula and provides a grand view of the main path leading to the station, and there’s a convenient smoking area at the back of the building that makes great use of the railway arches.
Eating and drinking
Sleeperz serves food until 9pm, kicking off with both continental and cooked breakfasts. A good selection of sandwiches, bar food and salads are available and can be ordered to take back to your room. The bar has a friendly relaxed air and works as good meeting point when you meet friends in the city.
Very friendly and accommodating.
