The hostel is centrally located – within the Great Boulevard, just off Rákóczi út (a popular shopping avenue), and only a ten-minute walk to the river. The transport hub of Blaha Lujza tér is nearby.
The rooms are excellent. There are 156 beds in total. Twin rooms and quads have bright splashes of yellow and orange, and their own white-tiled en suite bathrooms; they also have telephone and TV. The dormitories contain 12 beds, but are divided into separate sections each containing a pair of bunks and cupboard space. Bunks have curtains for privacy. Everything is clean and comfortable.
All very nicely maintained, with white-painted corridors, red-tiled floors and a pleasant courtyard terrace. Among the facilities are coin-operated internet access and washing machines, and free luggage storage and valuables safe.
