While I enjoy sitting on the beach or by the pool (with a cocktail in hand), I normally get itchy feet and will soon go off exploring, wanting to experience new sights and sounds - what could be more exciting? But this is not to say I don't crave creature comforts when abroad. I'm not one of those people who can go off trekking through the wilds of Borneo barefeet, Ray Mears style. I like the insurance of having air con and enough booze to sink a battleship back at the hotel.
