I was born in Cork, Ireland, but I'm living in Australia as they have nicer weather, fabulous beaches and the pubs open late. I has yet to be bitten by anything, but have been attacked by a foot-high marsupial after my banana. It was very cute. Having variously worked as a promotions girl, professional mover, travelling carnie and one of Santa's elves, these days I work part-time as a freelance writer, allowing me to claim my chronic holiday habit is actually necessary work travel. Which is a great excuse if you can get away with it.
