I’ve been a journalist for 20 years, most of them as a freelance, writing whenever possible about the things that really excite me: music, art, travel and tennis. I love living in the English countryside, just close enough to London – and its airports - to have the best of both worlds. The best part of my job is meeting people who have excelled and finding out what makes them tick. The worst is meeting deadlines. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m a city-break junkie: Copenhagen, Stockholm, Riga, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Montreal; and for longer stays and relaxation: Spain, France (particularly Normandy) and wonderful Suffolk (Aldeburgh).
