A mature,  happy guy having enjoyed a roller coaster ride throughout my life. A disc jockey in the late 60's travelling throughout Europe,  owning  caravans in St.Tropez in my early twenties, whilst having a career in retail management and hospitality. Being a total Francophile, with two succesful " Franglais" restaurants under my belt, and many enjoyable years as a good food/hotel  inspector for les routiers. We almost purchased a restaurant in La Rochelle, but decided to search for a second holiday home, on the coast, as this would be home from home as we live  in Aberystwyth, Wales. Spending three years travelling and inspecting property abroad ;  Fethiye Turkey, Kyrenia  North Cyprus, La Rochelle France, Marrakech Morocco,  just to name a few!  whilst touring Morocco we fell in love with Essaouira, and guess what, we purchased a traditional Berber house, far from the maddening crowd.

I am actively involved in animal welfare charities, fundraising, passionate about food, photoghraphy, art, and Morroco, and head chef at a wonderful residential home.
