I am a flight attendant and PhD student. I have been flying for ten years now and, like all air hostesses, I have all the inside knowledge!

When I am on trips (i.e. at work) I tend to stay in up-market hotels and indulge in as much pampering as possible.
On holiday, I go for the opposite: a totally local experience.

If I'm not serving coffee at 37,000 feet or haggling for handbags in Hong Kong, I'll be at home writing my thesis on Latin American Art. So I guess you could say my specialist subjects are Latin America and living a five star lifestyle on a pauper's budget!
