About me

I am Mum to three children and a Primary School teacher. I began travelling to Europe as a child with my parents who packed up a frame tent each year, in the days when camping was primitive. My first long haul flight was to America for a six month student exchange to Pennsylvania. I back-packed around Hong Kong in the year before it was returned to the Chinese. I took my own children camping, but gradually moved from frame tent to mobile home. As a family we did Disney in Florida, surfing in France and some wonderful road trips across Switzerland to Italy. Just before the Euro was introduced we tried to fit as many European countries in as possible with the children so that they could use the old currencies before they disappeared.
We explored Thailand's wonderful culture both city and island and more recently Mexico. My children are now grown but still enjoy our family holiday and are reluctant to miss it! We now get their friends too.
