About me

When I was awarded a Churchill Travelling Scholarship, my mother hoped it would cure my itchy feet. It was only the beginning though, AND I left my various abortive attempts at taxidermy with her. My writing started with letters home but during 11 years away - in remote Asia mostly - I wrote LEMURS OF THE LOST WORLD, three TRAVEL HEALTH GUIDES and a shed-load of features for Wanderlust magazine. My latest travel narrative is A GLIMPSE OF ETERNAL SNOWS; www.wilson-howarth.com
