One of my earliest ambitions was to be an explorer, and I spent many happy hours as a child reading about the great explorers of the past. While I still love to visit new countries, I have also learned that there is much to 'discover' in one's own backyard. A keen hiker, I feel there's no better way of getting to know an area than by foot.
